“These warning lights always come up-DAILY. No matter if it is hot or cold out. I am worried that they will not work if/when I actually needed them to. I am scheduling an appointment with NISSAN. Nothing has been looked at on it besides my normal oil change/check ups. I have a 7 month old and it scares me that I am not in a safe vehicle.”

NHTSA complaint #11583970, filed 2024-04

“As I was driving my daughter to school suddenly a warning popped up in the dash that there was a forward collision malfunction and the system turned itself off. There were no other vehicles near me or in front of me and the sensors were not blocked by rain (we are in drought conditions) or snow.”

NHTSA complaint #11621872, filed 2024-10

“This alerted while driving. Washed the car 4 times to make sure there was no dust interference. Two weeks and the system is still not working. Does not allow me to use anything that has to do with the AEB system. I believe it is the main sensor. No automatic headlight diming option. Cruise controll doesn't work with systems.”

NHTSA complaint #11428228, filed 2021-08

“I was driving forward and following another vehicle. It slammed on the brakes suddenly causing me to hit the back of the vehicle in front of me. I am supposed to have forward collision detection and automatic braking and neither one ever engaged to avoid the crash.”

NHTSA complaint #11554039, filed 2023-11

“FCW randomly turns off while driving in daylight under clear conditions. Each time I stop and check the sensor on the front to make sure I haven’t hit a bug or something that covered the sensor and each time the sensor is clear.”

NHTSA complaint #11646091, filed 2025-03
