“The forward emergency brake sensor malfunction this the second time I have taken back to Nissan for this issue and all they say is that ( we can not recrate the issue) and there is nothing wrong with it it has done it a few times when going through intersection on city street s it has stopped in the middle of the road luckily for me there was no traffic behind me”

NHTSA complaint #11408134, filed 2021-04, 74,582 miles

“I was driving down the highway at 50 miles an hour when suddenly my collision alarm started beeping and the brakes activated causing the vehicle to suddenly slow down, while making a grinding sound and caused the steering wheel to shake. There were no objects in front of me and thankfully there were no cars directly behind me, that could have struck my vehicle due to the sudden unexpected stop.”

NHTSA complaint #11408681, filed 2021-04, 44,345 miles

“Sensors go off as if something is in front of me to possible emergency braking and cuts offs after beeping a couple times when I'm driving on an empty road. This has occurred multiple times and concerns me that it will eventually enact emergency braking. This occurs while I'm in motion on a city street going straight.”

NHTSA complaint #11385171, filed 2020-12, 65,000 miles

“While the vehicle was in motion on both city streets and interstate highways the automatic emergency brake (aeb) has activated when there wasn't any traffic or obstacles present. At one time on the highway it almost caused an accident due to sudden and abrupt unneeded braking slowing the car unexpectedly nearly causing cars behind me to run into me. This vehicle behavior has occurred multiple times.”

NHTSA complaint #11186903, filed 2019-03, 20,100 miles

“Entering into a parking structure, coming up an incline. I hear a beep, and waring light comes on but disappears very quickly, I'm not able to see the icon. While coming up the incline and getting ready to make a right, the dashboard beeps again and the icon appears and disappeared. The car suddenly just brakes, completely stops and you can hear skid sounds. The car doesn't cut off, but takes a minute for me to get the car back in motion.”
