“My Nissan Rogue has less than 60,000 miles and was bought brand new in 2017. The past couple of months the transmission has started to fail. It jerks and has trouble accelerating like if the gear is stuck. My check engine turned on and had a code p0776 its the powertrain control module failure. …”

NHTSA complaint #11365667, filed 2020-10, 56,300 miles

“My rouge has had vibration problems since my first oil change. I bought the car new in dec.. 2017. Today 10/ 26/ 2018 I smell something burning threw my vents, & when it rains or the air is damp my brakes whistle. Is a new car new anymore? Please make new, new. No sure on dates. & miles.”

NHTSA complaint #11143011, filed 2018-10, 1,220 miles

“The problem that occurred, was driving on the highway and the CVT transmission slips slowing my car down in front of a big truck while my kids are in the there. That is not safe at all, so I take it to a shop who tells me it needs new transmission. Gets new transmission put in there and not even a good two weeks later it is doing it again. So I go and research and see that this is a big issue and Nissan has not did a recall on it yet. What are they waiting on, to harm a whole family. They need to get their stuff together.”

NHTSA complaint #11414228, filed 2021-04, 80,000 miles

“I recently got my vehicle less than 2 months ago and my car has been jerking, stalling when I try to accelerate and making a sound as if it's trying to accelerate but it's not connecting”

NHTSA complaint #11378098, filed 2020-12, 78,901 miles

“I bought my 2017 Nissan Rogue sv with 4 miles on it. On july 12, 2020 at 11:30 pm my car's transmission went out. I lost complete power on the busy kennedy expressway outside of chicago while driving with 3 friends in the car. The car began to chug and the rpms were between 3 and 4. I was unable to accelerate and eventually the car slowed to a stop on the shoulder. If this had been rush hour, we could have been seriously hurt. Nissan says because my car is at 72,000 of my 60,000 warranty they will only pay for 50%. …”
