“I was traveling on the interstate approximately 72 to 74 miles per hour when the steering wheel locked up and I immediately lost control of the vehicle. My first reaction was to press the brakes. I then was thrown into the median and hit the guardrail and all of the driver side airbags deployed. I had to seek medical attention.”

NHTSA complaint #11084776, filed 2018-04, 5,300 miles

“On august 22, 2019, while driving the automatic emergency breaking system engaged (flashing lights, warning beeps and a grinding noise) while I was driving about 30 to 40 MPH, causing the car to stall and forcibly jerk. This almost caused me to get rear ended. There was no obstruction ahead. This had already happened 2 other times and the dealership could not find anything wrong with it. I took it immediately after it happened the third time”

NHTSA complaint #11252582, filed 2019-08, 29,000 miles

“I recently got into to a car accident on , 9/15/2019. I hit a parked car in order to avoid an accident. I was not going no more than 10-15 miles per hour on a city street as I steered the car towards the right side to avoid an accident on the left side and my axle cracked. The police officer on the scene suggested I reach out to the manufacturer as he stated that the axle was not suppose to crack with such a minor incident. Per his suggestion I am writing to you.”

NHTSA complaint #11256335, filed 2019-09, 47,000 miles

“At 8000 miles, I had to have the right front strut replaced, and now I have 23,000 miles on it and I am going on my 4th strut, right front. A popping clicking noise when I turn or back up. Driving a 4 hr trip, while driving about 3 hrs, the air conditioning froze up and stopped working. I could hear the fan on full blast but nothing was coming out. I turned it off for 20 minutes and then it came back on with cool air. It is in the shop now for a heater/cooler box and the 4th strut replacement.”

NHTSA complaint #11228825, filed 2019-07, 8,000 miles

“Driving on interstate about 10 MPH. Car suddenly makes this loud noise and shuts off. It did restart and I didn't lose electrical as I was on blue tooth call but if happened when I was going faster this would have been a catastrophe! . This is the second time though. The first time I was in parking lot and I thought I did something as it was a new car. I was not touching anything but steering wheel and lightly touching brake as I was in traffic but there was quite some room between me and the car ahead.”
