“While on the highway, the vehicle felt sudden loss of power and a burning smell. Immediately took the next exit and entered a gas station where large volume of oil leaking under the vehicle. Exited the vehicle and called for a tow truck to bring the vehicle to the nearest auto shop who informed me that the engine was damaged internally similar to what’s described in the recall and informed me to have the vehicle towed to the nearest dealership for the recall repair. …”

“Warning lights keep popping up then something will go wrong with the car. A CVT malfunction came up and wouldn’t allow me to put the car in park then after I turned the car off it went back to normal. More random lights will come up they will all be different problems with the engine or system then once car has been off for a few it would go back to normal”

NHTSA complaint #11752921, filed 2026-07

“Transmission/ motor mount went out at 80k, the issue was going on before hand where my car would shake violently. I had been complaining about it for months they kept telling me it was normal, come to find out my transmission mount is going bad. Now they want to charge me 2k to replace it, after the engine was replaced.”

NHTSA complaint #11754018, filed 2026-07

“I owned this car for less than 2 years and it's already costing $700.00 to have a EGR valve failure. This seems to be a big problem with these SUV's and I just don't no how this is not covered under the warranty or a recall as this is clearly a defect. There are so many complaints about this issue. This is my 3rd Nissan and most likely my last!!! Not happy at all with this outcome of $700.00 repair!”

NHTSA complaint #11734676, filed 2026-04

“⚠️ Warning Alert continues to display on dashboard after several months of recently purchasing my vehicle for “Check position of shift lever”. The dealership had the vehicle for an entire week but failed to fix the issue. Now continues to inform me that they are waiting on a part to come in but that I can continue to drive my car without it being repaired.”
