“Was driving home from work which is no longer than a 5 minute drive. It was heavy rain outside. About 2 minutes from my home, my low tire light went on. Very soon after my tire went flat. I pulled to the curb in front of my home. The tire rolled off my car and the rim hit the ground, destroying the rim. My Sentra is a 2015 with 9000 miles on it, well maintained. How does this happen. Should this be a warranty item or recall? Repairs fro rim and tire came to $600.00.”

While driving 30 MPH, the tire pressure warning light illuminated and the steering wheel became difficult to maneuver. The contact pulled to the roadside and exited the vehicle to observe the tires. The contact mentioned that the front passenger side rim and tire were severely damaged. The rim and tire were replaced with a spare before it was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the tire and rim needed to be replaced. The tire was replaced. The tire was the original equipment. …”
