2014: “After having the transmission recall update performed by Nissan the transmission is having issues with shifting. I have to let off of the accelerator for the transmission to downshift. I contacted Nissan and they made a case and said I would have to pay for them to fix the problem even though they knew of the issues with the transmission.”

NHTSA complaint #11405907, filed 2021-04, 103,000 miles

2016: “When stopping at a traffic light or a stop sign, the car wants to move forward excessively. I have to push the breaks hard to make it stop. Looks like the car wants to continue moving forward on the second gear. Sometimes, I have to push it way harder to the end. Sure it will get worse. It could be way dangerous on highways with higher speeds.”

NHTSA complaint #11306970, filed 2020-02, 100,500 miles

2015: “The drivers side inner tie rod came out of the outer tie rod causing the wheel to separate from the linkage. This happened while I was driving locally around 30 MPH on a straightroad. The car has 45,000 miles. The passenger side is perfectly fine and safe. My vehicle was serviced last year. There is no reason for the tie rod to fail like that.”
