“At 29,374 miles, I needed to have my rear brakes replaced. My auto shop and I both agree that this is very early especially for the rear brakes. I never ride the brakes or put my emergency brake on. With a 8 year old car with only 29,374 miles on it, you can see that I rarely even drive this car.”

NHTSA complaint #11073085, filed 2018-02, 29,375 miles

“Shortly after purchasing a new 2010 Nissan Versa in 2011 I noticed that every time the vehicle was driven at about 15 plus MPH there was a loud clunking noise for about 15 seconds. If the brake pedal was pushed there would be a heavy felt vibration. Twice it seems as though the front end shook. The vehicle was taken to the shop three times and different parts were replaced/repaired. They did not seem to know what the problem was. On the fourth and subsequent times I complained, they said it was the antilock brake system self check system causing the problem and it was normal. …”

The air bags failed to deploy. There were no injuries and a police report was not filed. The vehicle was towed to a dealer, but was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 70,000.”
