NHTSA complaint #10003123, filed 2003-01, 20,000 miles“I have several friends with the same vehicle and the same problem(transmission ruined due to computer failure/malfunction. Also the master switch in these vehicles is faulty(that is the switch for windshield wipers/turn signal) that causes wipers to come on of their own accord. I am afraid to speculate on the problems that could arise if the turn signal portion was to malfunction as well.”
