“With my engine I have taken my car in for an oil change on time since I've got the car. Than right before one oil change I hear a knock in the engine. So I get an oil change again and it was still making this noise. Following that my air circulation for the fan would stop working at times. My radio electric line seems damaged. Works sometimes.”
NHTSA complaint #11318352, filed 2020-03, 203,500 miles“While driving I will go to exellerate and my RPM gage will flair up and then crash and my car will die out and I wil have to quickly get off the road without getting hit and try to restart my car if the RPM gage doesn't ingage the chances of it dying while driving is less but when it does I know at some point the car will die. It's happened on the highway with semi trucks driving behind me.”
NHTSA complaint #11154163, filed 2018-11, 10,700 miles“I went to start my car n it hesitated as if it would not kick over... I retried several times n it seemed to rev it's engine harder than normal. After few attempts it kicked over. This has happened several days since. I have had routine maintenance done, battery checked several times n nothing seems to be able to be diagnosed wrong! Frustrating.... To say the least!”
NHTSA complaint #10583661, filed 2014-04, 103,000 miles“I have a Pontiac G6 2006, I was driving at or around 25 MPH and the car suddenly shut off, when I came to a stop I tried to restart it but it would not start. Before it shut off I heard some sort of screeching sound. Upon taking it to the dealership I was told I would need a new engine. I bought it preowned with 63,000 miles. I find it hard to believe that the engine would die after 73,000 miles.”
NHTSA complaint #10596282, filed 2014-06, 73,000 miles“While accelerating onto the highway the vehicle loses power and all service, warning and dash lights come on. They flash and flicker until I lift foot off gas pedal, but will come right back if I step on the gas to hard. This issue only occurs when performing a hard acceleration onto the highway.”
