“My 08 Pontiac G6 is having difficulties with the breaking, traction, and cruise control. My break lights are staying on all the time even when my break pedal is not pressed and my traction control is shutting off as soon as I start up my car as well as my cruise control picks and chooses when it is going to work and when it does work it is not disengaging properly.”
NHTSA complaint #10966103, filed 2017-03, 100,000 miles“My air bags don't work in my car. My car was kept outside all these years. My cruise control doesn't work at all and my volume for the radio and illumination of the steering wheel doesn't work. I never owned a car that had issues with an airbag. I'd be willing to speak to the media and tv personnel.”
NHTSA complaint #11061561, filed 2018-01, 129,500 miles“My brake lamps r coming on when im not applying them while driving & n park, my cruise control comes on when it wants, in if its activated disengages itself at random, I almost caused n accident and was pulled over by a ny state trooper who happen to give me a break, y is this not a recall due to a searcher the issue in several r complaining the same issue.”
NHTSA complaint #10549295, filed 2013-10, 72,000 miles“I was driving and my car started to reduce speed, hesitate, and jerk when put my foot on the gas at a light to pull off or even with my foot on the gas pedal driving. My car couldn't pick up speed past 25 miles and sometime less. A message came up on my dash board stated flashing reduce engine speed. I was near auto zone when it happened so I asked to have a dianostic completed and it stated throttle/ pedal position sensor/ switch e circuit low input meaning code p2127.”
NHTSA complaint #11218734, filed 2019-06, 111,540 miles“Brake lights stay on without the brakes being engaged. When you engage the brakes the lights go off. The cruise control is effected by this also. We have put dielectric lube on the switch as instructed by a certified GM tech. This works for a week or less. My research shows that the 2005/2006 models had a recall issued for this same issue.”
