NHTSA complaint #11010164, filed 2017-07, 120,000 miles“Ok so I started having issues starting the vehicle out of know where. Then I started getting bad when I smelled gas every time I drive and once its parked. I now can smell gas fumes as we drive sometimes. I drive this vehicle back and forth to work and my 2 year old child rides with me. I have concerns that my car might blow up or catch fire if a spark was to happen.”
NHTSA complaint #10579196, filed 2014-04, 111,000 miles“I began to notice strong fuel smell coming from vehicle which lead me to check for leaks. I noticed a crack in the fuel line as stated in recall 09v-419. Unfortunately the G6 is not covered in this recall even though the g5 is. Because of the fuel leak, gas mileage is suffering greatly. G6 should be included in the previously mentioned recall.”
