“The truck brake pedal got hard and went all the way to the bottom. Dash lighted up like a Christmas tree. Luckily I was entering a parking lot so I was going slow and was able to park the truck. Truck only has 453 miles and is only 2 weeks since purchase. If there's a recall for this issue I believe it wasn't taken care of before selling it to me.”

NHTSA complaint #11640540, filed 2025-02

“1. Nature of Safety Complaint I am submitting this complaint to report repeated and unresolved safety-related defects affecting my 2025 Ram 1500 manufactured by Stellantis (FCA US LLC). The vehicle has experienced ongoing failures of safety-related systems since purchase on August 6, 2025. Despite multiple repair attempts at three authorized dealerships, the issues persist and the vehicle has remained out of service for over four months. 2. …”

NHTSA complaint #11718999, filed 2026-02

“I was pulling out of driveway, it is a steep driveway, I have kept vehicle in 4WD, I then backed up to turn around, the truck “lurched” and “jerked” forward abruptly. I thought I had hit the home in front of me or ran over something. It was not the AEB. The vehicle had changed from 4WD auto to 2WD on its own, creating a large “jump” in the gears. I took the vehicle to service and they could not replicate. This has now happened 3 other times and “jerked” me forward at lower speeds. …”

NHTSA complaint #11733853, filed 2026-04

“on my 2025 ram 1500, my truck turns off my cross path detection, and reads i have a trailer hooked up. At the times this has happened i HAD NO trailer attached and had no trailer wire harness hooked up to my truck. the first time this happened, i was driving forward, and my truck turned off my cross path detection and errored out, my truck also reads a trailer, and has defalts to AUTO trailer, this happened 2 times, I have no trailer hooked up and have never had a trailer hooked up. …”

NHTSA complaint #11742519, filed 2026-06

“I purchased this RAM 1500 Big Horn Edition truck new on 12/23/24. The backup camera display has randomly failed 14 times only showing a blue screen. I have been able to clear the error by turning the vehicle off and back on except for two occasions (see*). There was not any resolution by the dealership on November 10, 2025, as they could not replicate the issue. The dates of this failure are: 1/22/2025, 1/24/2025, 2/6/2025, 3/9/2025, 3/12/2025, 5/8/2025, 5/18/2025, 5/25/2025*, 5/25/2025*, 9/24/2025, 9/28/2025*, 9/28/2025*, 10/23/2025, 10/23/2025. …”
