“The truck brake pedal got hard and went all the way to the bottom. Dash lighted up like a Christmas tree. Luckily I was entering a parking lot so I was going slow and was able to park the truck. Truck only has 453 miles and is only 2 weeks since purchase. If there's a recall for this issue I believe it wasn't taken care of before selling it to me.”

NHTSA complaint #11640540, filed 2025-02

“There was a recall for the cluster pack on the screen that shows my speedometer and safety features such a lane departure, turn signals, etc. I had the recall completed and my screen still blacks out randomly. It has been in the shop 3 times to fix the screen, but Ram cannot get it fixed. I have multiple pictures and videos of the screen blacking out if anyone is interested I can email them.”

NHTSA complaint #11730630, filed 2026-04

“On several occasions the forward collision safety feature has not worked at all. it failed to apply the brakes or give me a warning prior to me having to manually apply the brakes to avoid a collision. I have report to the dealer several times to which I was told that no codes are showing so the system is working. It is not working. I do not know if the pedestrian avoidance is working either.”

NHTSA complaint #11765642, filed 2026-09

“While driving on a clear road my Automatic Emergency Braking System applied my brakes and attempted to stop my vehicle. The brakes released and allowed me to continue. The road surface was clear. There were no other vehicle in sight in front of me or behind me. No animals were in the area. There was nothing to trigger this activation. I'm returning the vehicle today for the repair.”

NHTSA complaint #11634883, filed 2025-01

“Constantly getting warnings that Auto emergecy braking, blind spot monitoring, and forward collision is disabled and needs service. It flashes on and off on the dash at inconsistent rates and appears to be bad wiring connections or faulty equipment. Been to dealer numerous times and still not fixed. I feel like these systems are going to fail me and could cause a potential safety concern.”
