“I have had two problems with my vehicle. The first is that the cruise control intermediately works and then doesn't at times. The second, is that the power steering intermediately works and then suddenly will go out in middle of a turn. I took it to a local mechanic and he hooked his scanner to it and although there were no warning lights on, he reset the computer in the vehicle. This action worked for approximately one hour and the then the issue with the power steering returned. …”
NHTSA complaint #11405921, filed 2021-04, 119,000 miles“My 2015 ram ecodiesel is getting a brake light for ABS, traction control, emergency brake all not working. Dealership wants $4000 to fix it with a part that’s back ordered 2yr. I’m having a hard time understanding if so many people online are having this issue why it’s not a SAFETY RECALL. The stock part failed at no fault of the customers.”
NHTSA complaint #11702155, filed 2025-11“The ABS brake module failed approximately 11 months ago. John Jones Chrysler confirmed this as the problem, and ordered a new part. Dash brake light, traction control light, and ABS light are lit on dash panel. Also cruise control quit working, because of this module. The dealer refunded my money saying parts to repair are unavailable. I’m assuming a failed ABS module is a definite safety problem. This seems to be a common problem with these vehicles.”
NHTSA complaint #11742436, filed 2026-06“Service ABS Brake, Service Electronic Brake Throttle, Service Electronic Trailer Brake & Standard Brake dash lights are illuminated at all times. I have no Anti Lock Braking & Sway /Stability Control Light is on and I have No Stability nor anti sway control. This disrupts the Cruise Control from working. It has been confirmed by a local trusted mechanic shop. The Warning Lights have been on since June 2024. This is dangerous especially in rain and wet conditions. The truck has no traction control and fish tails at the slightest turn during acceleration.”
NHTSA complaint #11615503, filed 2024-09“I have a recall on this vehicle over a year ago and no dealer has the part. Now my parking sensor keeps coming on and off. This needs to be taken care of.”
