“On 11/20/20 my Ram truck was hit on the right front corner and totaled. We were at a stop light and just started to complete a left hand turn on a city street when the other driver ran a red light, he was issued a citation for running a red light, and was probably speeding. We were in a 35mph zone. The air bags failed to deploy. I contacted chrysler and this is part of their conclusion. The conclusion of the investigation is that the rate of deceleration necessary to activate the air bag system was not present during this accident. …”
NHTSA complaint #11384941, filed 2020-12, 13,000 miles“Passenger side tie rod inner end outer separated and upon inspection threads had rusted and they pulled apart in a simple left turn. Luckily it as at low speed, but had just gotten off the interstate at 70 MPH. This could have been a catastrophic accident had it happened on the interstate. Dealership and tow truck driver said they had never seen this on a 2019 vehicle with less than 100,000 miles.”
NHTSA complaint #11405297, filed 2021-03, 98,500 miles“The instrument cluster went black. The parking sensors data does not display. The mileage does not display. The temperature and oil pressure do not display.”
NHTSA complaint #11397974, filed 2021-02, 22,000 miles“Display in my gauge cluster on my 2019 ram 1500 is intermittent going in and out and lately is completely blank. Without the display I can not use the gauges, see if my tires are low, see how close I am to thing both forward and reverse with the park sense, low fuel light, cannot see the cruise control basically if there's a problem I can't see it because the display does not work I also cannot see current miles on the vehicle without the display.”
NHTSA complaint #11524825, filed 2023-06“The service Anti-lock brake system, and service electronic braking system, along with the lights come on. Also the electronic stability control (ESC) disables, and that light comes on as well. The cruise control does not work either. My truck year model is 2019, and a recall has been issued (reference number 75B/NHTSA/24V-653) for this same problem, but my vehicle was not included for whatever reason. I Attached some pics. I really hope and pray, that y'all will be able to add it to the recall Thank you”
