“I was driving on I-65 in indianapolis, in traffic, when my engine abruptly shut off and the ignition mode switched from run to acc. This caused me to lose all propulsion power and I was forced to cross lanes to get over to the right shoulder. Luckily, I was still a mile or two from the upcoming construction zone, which would have prevented me from being able to pull off onto a shoulder. …”

NHTSA complaint #11405327, filed 2021-03, 39,350 miles

“Ok we need a recall now this is ridiculous! Give us a recall on the rear window because all it does is crack and leak, I am sick and tired of bringing my truck to the dealer for this problem and im sure everyone else is too so please do us a favor here. Second the manifold bolts breaking/cracking, seriously! That needs to be addressed immediately as well, thats all we ask for is for these two recalls.”

NHTSA complaint #11386723, filed 2021-01, 8,000 miles

“While driving down a curvy rural road, my vehicle lost all throttle control. I almost wrecked and had to stop at the exit of a blind 55mph corner. The vehicle had multiple check engine lights on including a electromic throttle control failure light, park brake failure light, trailer brake failure light (no trailer connected at the time), and a generic check engine light.”

NHTSA complaint #11194770, filed 2019-04, 6,831 miles

“Vehicle fails to start without any notice or apparent indications of a potential issue.I had someone use a code reader and got the following code p1df3... I checked Ram forums and this is a common malfunction. Without warning something drains the battery. No one knows what will fix it yet.”

NHTSA complaint #11355221, filed 2020-09, 32,002 miles

“Location: state hwy 55, buffalo, mn, intersection with central avenue description of the issue: while stopping at the red light and applying the brake, the truck experienced a sudden acceleration burst. Even though the brake was fully applied, the engine was accelerating on its own and pushing the truck. At low speed (<5mph) and with the brake fully applied, the truck hit a stopped minivan in front of me and continue pushing it towards the intersection in bursts as I was depressing the brake pedal. …”
