“While driving down a curvy rural road, my vehicle lost all throttle control. I almost wrecked and had to stop at the exit of a blind 55mph corner. The vehicle had multiple check engine lights on including a electromic throttle control failure light, park brake failure light, trailer brake failure light (no trailer connected at the time), and a generic check engine light.”

NHTSA complaint #11194770, filed 2019-04, 6,831 miles

“Vehicle fails to start without any notice or apparent indications of a potential issue.I had someone use a code reader and got the following code p1df3... I checked Ram forums and this is a common malfunction. Without warning something drains the battery. No one knows what will fix it yet.”

NHTSA complaint #11355221, filed 2020-09, 32,002 miles

“2019 Ram with 13,000 miles. After my first engine oil change at 10,000 miles conducted by the Ram dealership. During normal driving conditions in the street and in the highway while in motion I feel the transmission slipping, like it takes a couple of seconds to fully engage. The truck is new and is happening daily. I feel that this is a manufacture defect that needs to be remedied immediately.”

NHTSA complaint #11245174, filed 2019-08, 10,500 miles

“I feel a knocking sensation either when I apply the brakes or gas after driving the vehicle. In my opinion, it feels like either the transmission or drive shaft are slipping. This happens almost every time I drive the vehicle in the city and usually when stopping at a red light or sign.”

NHTSA complaint #11242429, filed 2019-08, 9,000 miles

“Loose rear suspension. Creates a wobble that increases with speed. Vehicle seems unstable. Been to multiple dealers and they say tires are out of line. I have paid for eight wheel alignments and the problem has been constant since I purchased the vehicle.”
