“I have replaced, via warranty, 3 cylinders that have failed within 10,000 miles of the vehicle. This causes my truck to shutter and not accelerate properly. The shop tells me this has been an ongoing problem, however it is not being addressed by Stalantis. Not requesting to do anything for my situation, however it needs to be investigated.”

NHTSA complaint #11666889, filed 2025-06

“Etorque and battery failure. Etorque was failing and coldbrook Mitsubishi said it was fine. 2 months later brought to Lee dodge/ram and told etorque bearing gone. By now 80k manufacturer warranty over 80k and not warranted despite me telling them before this mileage. This etorque should be recalled and paid for. This truck has been nothing but problems. I won’t buy anything from stelantis in the future!”

NHTSA complaint #11728700, filed 2026-04

“Twice I have pulled out into traffic and the engine lost all power and I was almost rear ended by another vehicle. After a few seconds the engine recovered and was driving normal. I’ve taken it to the dealer where it was purchased twice for this issue but they say they can’t duplicate the issue. No warning lamps ever came up.”

NHTSA complaint #11602389, filed 2024-07

“The truck has done this four times since 01/22/2026. While still moving slowly the truck will do this while going down the highway. One other safety issue was when I merged into traffic on the highway (You have to merge into the fast lane at this location) the truck wouldn't go past 4th gear approximately 40 mph with cars coming up on me at 70. All of these problems correct when I can get the truck restarted.”

NHTSA complaint #11756163, filed 2026-08

“I was moving forward about 5 mph to merge on to the main road when the emergency brake engaged, engine shut off, steering wheel locked and the 2023 Ram 1500 stopped blocking traffic. Instrument panel instructed me what to do . This was a dangerous situation especially if I was moving at a greater speed.”
