“The contact owns a 2014 Ram 2500. The contact stated that the windows needed to be scraped from the inside. The driver was unable to see the roadway. The brake light became inoperable. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer where it was diagnosed that the brake light housing needed to be replaced. There was water entering the brake light housing. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted but no additional assistance was provided. The approximate failure mileage was 40,000.”

The contact stated that the side view mirror heated/defroster function were not functioning during icy and snowy weather. The vehicle was equipped with no side or rear windows, which the contact only had the side view mirrors to depend on when switching lanes. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 1,900.”
