“While traveling westbound on I-64 at highway speed (~65 MPH), I experienced a complete tire failure of the driver's side front fire. It was first experienced as severe front-end vibration that made control of the vehicle difficult; there were no warnings or other indications of imminent failure. Fortunately, I was able to get the vehicle to the roadway's shoulder without injury or accident. Upon exiting the vehicle, I noticed that the left front tire was flat, and a portion of the tire's tread was protruding above the surface of the tire. …”

The contact stated that on several occasions while driving at various speeds, the ABS, traction control, TPMS, and Forward Collision Avoidance warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 117,000. The contact stated Fiat/Chrysler/Ram Trucks is going to replace the hydraulic ABS module free of charge.”
