2018: “Due to safety recall v06, I am no longer able to adjust the steering wheel in my truck after an alignment, leaving the steering wheel in a $60k truck off. I have been in contact with chrysler since november 2020, and they continue to close my case and have not once returned a call. I expect this recall to be handled properly, and not just welded together.”
NHTSA complaint #11398101, filed 2021-02, 40,000 miles2019: “Red hydraulic fluid in brake system cause brake failure, which cause me to cause minor damage to a brake line. Dealer has had vehicle for over 2 months, claim vehicle doesn't qualify for recall that states similar issues as v98 which is for 2019 dodge Ram 3500s , also says parts are on restrictions do to recall and can not repair my vehicle do to this.”
NHTSA complaint #11307354, filed 2020-02, 23,000 miles2015: “The truck was recalled and a temporary weld was placed on the front steering alignment until parts could be obtained for a permanent fix. Now it shows as repaired but a permanet repair was never made. I can not align my steering because it is welded. At the very least this will cause uneven tire wear and premature replacement”
