Example complaints

Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“Adaptive cruise control did not disengage when brake pedal was pressed. The cars ahead of me on the highway were coming to a stop, so I tried to veer to the right since the brakes didn't work. The lane assist kept fighting me and wouldn't let me veer off to the right. Almost hit the car in front of me. Now the car is undrivable and needs to be towed”

NHTSA complaint #11753400, filed 2026-07

“I have had several of the safety systems on the vehicle shut off suddenly. Twice, I have taken the vehicle into the dealership to get it looked at and now I will have to do so for the third time. It is pretty concerning because it has to do with all the safety features.”

NHTSA complaint #11556496, filed 2023-11
