“All Safety features stopped working while driving multiple times and loading feature pops up on the display screen. Speakers will go mute randomly, no sound will emit including phone calls. Automatic stop feature has engaged on the interstate multiple times, locking breaks (This is extremely dangerous) and lane assist does not recognize the difference between a lane or tar strips road patches. Will Automatically move the car into the next lane, even when a vehicle is in the lane. I have reported the issues to the dealership I bought my vehicle from. Also have cam footage of electrical issues.”
NHTSA complaint #11733299, filed 2026-04“Apparently the wiring is made of soy based product causing mice to chew it. The power steering was compromise along with many electrical components , luckily I was not on the road when this happened the thought that I would be on the road frightens me. When I went to the dealer, Subaru of Newton NJ, they said it wasn't their fault and they are charging my insurance for repairs. Subaru is causing potential fatal accidents by not addressing this issue, they are aware of the problem and willing to do nothing. My car has been in the shop since December 2023 please help. Thank you.”
