2005: “I have owned a 2005 Suzuki gsx-r 600 for the past 5 years. I got a manufacturer safety recall notice on my front brake master cylinder so I contacted my local Suzuki dealership to have the free service done on my motorcycle. I dropped my motorcycle off at the dealership on 8/2/18. I was told the dealership was still waiting on the parts from the manufacturer and it would be a few days or maybe even a week before the dealership could work on it. …”

2007: “Faulty and/or terrible placement of the rectifier causing my bike to overcharge the battery. I am very lucky the battery didn't catch fire or explode. I have replaced the stator, rectifier, and battery before because of this problem, but this time was a lot worse. Why has Suzuki not recalled the 07's?? After getting off the the interstate, riding approximately 70 MPH, I noticed a strong sulfur smell which turned out to be the battery. This problem needs to be fixed by Suzuki. They are very lucky someone hasn't lost their life because of this.”

NHTSA complaint #11407946, filed 2021-04, 12,500 miles

2006: “Throttle response on my 2006 grxr 600 has been terrible since the day I bought the bike. It is near impossible to have throttle control at slow cornering speeds. Suzuki has offered no assistance with this bike since the day I bought it. This condition will cause an accident it is only a matter or time.”
