“I purchased my XL7 luxury new in 2007 with only 368+ miles. Before I had driven the vehicle for 3 months, the stability control and traction control lights came on and I was forced to take the vehicle for service. Before my vehicle warranty expired, I had to replace the gas caps numerous times resulting in the replacement of my catalytic converter. Now before my vehicle reached 100,000 miles, I am forced to replace the electrical harness (or complete computer output). Pugmire lincoln mercury is the only dealership in my area that provides repairs for my vehicle. …”

The contact stated that it feels as if he was driving on ice. When the weather is windy, the wind pushes the vehicle around like a kite and the contact loses control. He has almost side swiped another vehicle due to the wind. The dealer could not duplicate the failure the first time. When the vehicle was taken to the dealer a second time, they replaced both front tires on february 9, 2008. …”
