“The main FSD computer has given me a fault which probably necessitates replacement of the main computer at a cost of $3250. Car is 2024 and is just out of warranty with 52,000 miles within the last month. Tesla states they will not cover. Safety features are not available , per the warning on my dash.”
NHTSA complaint #11738019, filed 2026-05“PCS component in my car has degraded, I could charge at 36A earlier but now the charger only charges at 24A. This is line with large number of PCS failures reported by other users and their failed components being replaced by Tesla. However they returned mine saying they could not replicate it!”
NHTSA complaint #11738328, filed 2026-05“My Tesla Cybertruck has experienced a failure of the Power Conversion System (PCS), which prevents the vehicle from charging at home using the installed residential charging equipment. Tesla diagnosed the issue and advised that the required replacement part is unavailable, with no estimated date for repair. As a result, I have been forced to rely exclusively on public Superchargers for several months. …”
NHTSA complaint #11741138, filed 2026-05“The PCS module failed in the vehicle, not allowing me to charge the vehicle at home. I can still use it at Superchargers, but the AC charging at my house no longer works and the power share function of the truck also no longer works. There seems to be a widespread issue as in all the forms in groups. I’m in thousands of people have had this problem recently with no rhyme or reason to year make model or miles”
NHTSA complaint #11738264, filed 2026-05“The PCS2 threw an alert that the Cybertruck could no longer charge with AC, but I was unable to do DC charging either. The truck is now a brick. Had I been out of town this would have been a serious safety issue. Think of it as an ICE car not being able to be filled at a gas station.”
