NHTSA complaint #10327288, filed 2010-04, 88,000 miles

“While commuting one summer morning, my vehicles A/C went from blowing cold to hot air instantaneous. I then went without A/C for a period of two weeks, luckily I was on tdy and did not have my young children. I took the vehicle to the dealership and they said a rock punctured the A/C condenser. Toyota has issued a technical service bulletin(ac002-06), indicating that the A/C condenser is not properly protected.”

NHTSA complaint #10542877, filed 2013-09, 105,000 miles

“I got my car in 2005 and I has nothing but 30 thousand miles, when I got it ran well and still does. The air conditioning works for 20 minutes then turns off and turns back on and from what I hear im not the only one. When I say it turns off I mean it blows lukewarm. I think Toyota needs to do a recall because this is ridiculous on a fairly new car!”

NHTSA complaint #10265969, filed 2009-04, 30,000 miles

“My air conditioner stopped working. I read up on this matter and found out that condenser is a problem with the 2005-2006 Corolla and they suggested filing a complaint with this website so that you would be aware that there is a problem. Thanks!”

NHTSA complaint #10525652, filed 2013-07, 160,000 miles

“The heater in our car was malfunctioning, it would take 15-20 minutes before it would get warm, we took it to the Toyota dealership( roughly 03/31/2010 ) where we purchased it ( and they have done all the maintenance, oil changes, transmission flush, etc. ) they looked at the car and just said that it needed some coolant and that was it. The heater worked for just a couple days and then the heater began doing the same thing again. …”
