“When I was driving my Toyota Corolla 2010 on 12/29/2011 at around 10.30 pm, suddenly I felt that the steering was so rigid to turn and noticed in the car dashboard warning indicator lights for ABS, engine malfunction/check engine indicator, brake, vsc off, were illuminating. And the vehicle was totally stopped in the middle of the road. I was totally shocked!!!!!!!!!!! I tried again to start the vehicle but it failed.I towed the car to Toyota dealer and they ran vehicle test and told me that throttle body assembly has to be replaced. …”

“I have a Toyota Corolla 2010 which I bought in the first week of august 2009. While I was driving to sacramento around last august, my car lost power in the middle of a freeway. I was in the fast lane, and unable to operate the car. I realized that the engine was not there, it went off, no power and the car decreased its speed and finally stopped. Fortunately I was able to get out in the left emergence lane. If it was a rush hour and traffic was busy, I would have an accident. Fortunately, there was no accident. …”

“Since purchasing this vehicle in july 2009, when braking and coming to a stop, the 2010 Toyota Corolla frequently shudders as if it is going to stall, although it has not yet stalled. This was reported to the dealer (ira Toyota manchester) during 5k mile routine maintenance on 1-30-10 and they responded that they have had about a dozen complaints about this from different owners and they don't know what the problem is. Nothing was done.”
