“There was a sudden acceleration in my Toyota Corolla 2010 and hit a tree,I was driving 15 miles per hour at that time. When complained to Toyota they investigated about 15 days ago but no conclusion was provided from Toyota. I was injured but recovered already. Please ask them why they are not providing any conclusion to me. .”

NHTSA complaint #10766451, filed 2015-09, 30,000 miles

“Horn failed to honk when needed. It did not work while vehicle was in motion on a highway, it did not work on a city street, it did not work parked in my driveway. The wire became separated and there was a void, the wire cover stayed intact until I removed the connector from the horn. I had to connect a new wire from the existing wire and reconnect to the horn. All is fine now.”

NHTSA complaint #10785448, filed 2015-10, 103,000 miles

“I was driving my car down the highway going about 60mph and all of a sudden lost all engine power, with no warning, stutter, jolt or any sort of noise. I managed to coast to the shoulder but could not get my car to turn over and had to tow it away. Obd code reader would not connect with on board computer. When cranking the engine there was no spark to the coils.”

NHTSA complaint #10631994, filed 2014-09, 92,000 miles

“Driver side window switch is not working good. When using it to pull down driver side window is being scratched up due to I think lack of lubricant. Window switch works but is making marks on my windo and I am scared it will eventually break it.”

NHTSA complaint #11229278, filed 2019-07, 100,000 miles

“Car would start then driving at 10mph the car stalls and the dash lights illuminate the dashboard. Put the car in park and restart with no problem but if somebody was behind me it would've caused an accident. Last week car did the same thing except I the car was in motion towards an intersection from idle and had to quickly put it in park and restart it and move it before I would've been involved in a deadly accident.”
