“I own a 2015 Toyota Corolla s premium. It has the radio system with blue tooth and GPS. The problem is that while I am listening to the radio and the GPS comes on giving directions, the radio does not fade so the radio and the GPS are talking over each other and I can't understand the GPS. Because of the confusion of both voices I have made the wrong turn which has almost LED to accidents. 1-800 Toyota claims there is not a problem but, even my dealership service department agrees there is. There have been many complaints on this but, nothing is really being done.”
NHTSA complaint #10730294, filed 2015-06, 200 miles“I connect my phone to the hand free system especially when traveling, the screen and monitor has been malfunctioning now to the point where I am not able to adjust speakers sound, source and volume. I am only able to to hear from rear speakers. It is illegal to drive and use mobile devices so to be able to connect to a properly working systems is most definitely needed. I have notice that quite a few drivers of Corollas have this issue and dealers wants approximately a thousand dollars to fix (that a new stereo system). Please investigate this issue and recall for repair. Thank you!”
NHTSA complaint #11536657, filed 2023-08“2015 Toyota Corolla. Consumer writes seeking reimbursement for remote key repair. Consumer sends additional documentation. The consumer stated the key inside the remote does not fit the vehicle door.”
