“For the 2nd time in 4 years, the air intake pump/valves have malfunctioned. The first time it happened it was covered under Toyota's extended warranty that covered this for 10 years/150,000 miles, whichever comes first. I just turned 156,000 miles, and Toyota doesn't want to cover it- they also said even if I was under 150,000 miles they wouldn't cover it because they'll only cover the repair one time (unless it fails again within 1year of the repair). The repair costs $2,000+- and is obviously not a permanent fix. …”
