“The seat belt latch stopped working. It appears the locking mechanism failed and it is stuck in the locked state which prevents the seat belt from latching. This is a critical failure in vehicle safety. It had been inspected by Toyota and they do not know what happened and are not willing to fix it unless we pay for it. This issue should be a recall.”
