“Yes I wrote awhile back about my ball joint snapping in half going 55. It was the lower one but it wasn't where the ball joint was it was the metal part about an inch and a half from where the ball joint was. Due to rust. The man whom I finally found who bought it new said he never received any kind of notice about the rust on the vehicle.”
NHTSA complaint #11386050, filed 2021-01, 180,000 miles“A bolt fell from the steering column, which caused the steering wheel to spins freely. Dealer tightened loose steering wheel nut. This also enabled the air bag sensor harness and horn. Consumer declined to have srs air bag light replaced.”

When looking under dashboard consumer noticed all welds were broken, and there was one weld holding steering column to dash. If steering wheel falls off while driving there can be a serious accident. This is a fatal flaw on manufacturer's part. Please provide any further information.”
