“This recall {25TA06} has been out since May 15 2025, it's been over a year now. I have called a few times and nobody know anything when this will be completed. Rumors on line say they took care of the ones at the dealership but not the ones that customers purchased. All I need is about when this will be taken care of. Thank you”

“The contact owns a 2022 Toyota Tundra. The contact stated that there was moisture accumulated in the taillight housings. While shifted into reverse, the camera image was not properly displayed. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, but the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The dealer was waiting for authorization from the manufacturer. …”

NHTSA complaint #11716985, filed 2026-02, 65,000 miles

“Water is leaking into the cab of my 2022 Toyota Tundra Platinum 4x4 through the high-mounted third brake light. The leak allows water to enter the headliner and interior, creating the potential for mold, damage to the interior, and electrical issues. After troubleshooting, the third brake light gasket appears to be the source of the leak. Toyota does not appear to offer the gasket as a replacement part, requiring owners to replace the entire third brake light assembly despite the failure being limited to the seal. …”

NHTSA complaint #11751034, filed 2026-07

“The contact owns a 2022 Toyota Tundra. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V322000 (Exterior Lighting); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure.”
