2017: “While driving at night and the lights are on auto, pressing down for the left signal the headlights go out and the dash becomes dim as if I am driving during the day which im not. The vehicle is moving when the lights go out . Please find a resolution because this is dangerous and could cause others to collide with me while on the road.”
NHTSA complaint #11394309, filed 2021-02, 18,000 miles2014: “2014 Toyota Tundra with 180,000 miles. The gear shifter will not come out of park at times when brake is pressed. I have gotten in the truck many times to leave my house and when I press the brake to take it out of park it will not unlock the shifter. I have to press and release the brake a few times before the shifter is unlocked.”
NHTSA complaint #11402549, filed 2021-03, 175,000 miles2019: “Radar sensor on the front of the truck was previously brought into the dealership pursuant to a recall. Months later the radar sensor is automatically braking, while I am driving, without any vehicle or obstacle in front of my truck. This had happened twice in the past couple of months. Date below is an estimate of the most recent event.”
