2014: “My son was getting into the van via the driver side sliding door. His backpack bumped the sensor, and the door opened and froze halfway open. I disengaged the automatic opening, but the door had difficulty closing. I noticed that the cable to the sliding door had snapped. I was eventually able to close the door, but now the door will not open at all.”
NHTSA complaint #11386865, filed 2021-01, 95,000 miles2005: “The front seat belts gets tangled. It takes a lot of time and effort to get it untangled. Most recently I was unable to get it untangled so I had to take it to my garage to get it untangled. Very serious safety problem if it get tangled while I am out running errands and cannot get it untangled so I can drive home. Hazardous and should be recalled!”
NHTSA complaint #11362031, filed 2020-09, 147,000 miles2015: “I had a front damaged car accident in 2016. I realized that none of airbags were deployed since I was asked by at fault driver's insurance attorney. I was driving on a local one way road and a car showed up in front of me all of a sudden. It was crossing in front of me as ignoring stop sign on his side. It was too close to avoid and brake was not helpful.”
