2022 Toyota Tundra Fuel system Problems

“When trying to accelerate from a stop this truck lags and hesitates to the point of stalling almost when pulling into or crossing traffic. I have been in many near miss collisions due to the hesitation and lack of response. This has been going on since I’ve owned the truck in 22 and the dealership failed to address it or even acknowledge it.”

“I have had multiple occasions where I have pushed on the gas pedal to accelerate from a stop and the truck does not go. This has almost caused accidents when attempting to pull out into traffic. This happens almost on a daily basis. The lag/pause can be very short (0.5 seconds) or very long (2-3 seconds) in my experience.”

“After I put gas into the vehicle gas tank, the gas tank gauge indicated the tank was 75% full. The following day when I started the vehicle the gauge indicated the tank was 100% full and I did not add a drop of gas into the tank. Days later the tank appears to be stuck on 100% full. My fear is that I will not realize when the tank approaches empty at a very inopportune time.”
