NHTSA complaint #11096443, filed 2018-05, 50,000 miles

“Truck shuts down after running for about 2 minutes; As if the ignition switch was turned off while driving. I then have to wait about 30 seconds to restart the truck. The truck will not start immediately after shutting off. It acts like something has to reset to allow the truck to start. The truck will do the same thing idling in my driveway. It starts right up; Runs about 2 minutes and shuts off. After 30 seconds the truck will restart. This is a danger on the highway. I do not have remote start.”

NHTSA complaint #11424794, filed 2021-07

“With the many times I have severely tried to start my vehicle it has a hard start not due to other components such as the battery or other electrical issues but the flex fuel integration in the system not reading correctly. With the reflash done many times it will still not resolve the issue. With the vehicle always at a cold start weather it would be a hot day or a cold day it always seems to have the hard start issue. This issue has many affects on drivers safety and could cause severity on the engine with faults soon to happen. …”
