“I am having problems with my truck. When driving it. It looses power. Engine shakes.. Goes from okay to loss of power to back to having power. In codes are showing up when placed on the computer. I have replaced spark plugs and wires. I took the truck to Toyota and they advised me that their has been recalls with fuel pump and could be the problem I am having.”

NHTSA complaint #11373740, filed 2020-11, 159,000 miles

“Toyota acknowledges a problem with their air intake valve and has extended the warranty period. The warranty is too short, too little miles, and only covers the repair one time. My vehicle is experiencing this problem for the 3rd time even though they claim that their repair fixed the problem the first time, and claims no one else experienced the problem a second time (although I have).”

NHTSA complaint #10898629, filed 2016-08, 140,000 miles

“I was driving and all of a sudden my truck turned off a lot wreaked my truck due to losing power. Fuel pump control module is bad. This was a recall in the data base”

NHTSA complaint #11413696, filed 2021-04, 149,000 miles

“Frame mount for gas tank has rusted and fuel tank is dropping down. Last year an undercoating was applied by a Toyota dealer and is peeling off in certain areas. I believe pursuant to the class action lawsuit referred to as brian warner et al Toyota motor corporation my vehicle may be covered under warranty because the gas tank strap mounting is part of the frame. As of now, my mechanic advised me not to drive it as it is a safety hazard. I noticed the tank strap was hanging down from the frame and the gas tank was also hanging down while the vehicle was parked in my driveway.”

NHTSA complaint #11210067, filed 2019-05, 73,400 miles

“This compliant compliments the current Toyota recall that is related to the sticking accelerator pedal. The pedal in my 2008 Toyota Tundra does not get stuck at acceleration point but is sticky during the acceleration process. This is a physical issue that is related to the pedal movement as depressed from a stopped position. This has occurred at least 70 % of the time since I owned the vehicle (purchased new). Since my vehicle is on the recall list I feel that this is a situation that should also be investigated. …”
