“Re 2008 Tundra, the brake pedal goes almost all the way to the floor and feels squishy . Wilde Toyota in westallis, wisconsin inspected my vehicle and purportedly installed all new brake fluid and said they did a scanning tool computerized bleed of the whole brake system including the ABS pump system bleed. They cahrged me aprox $113.00 for that service and the issue is unresolved...the brake pedal still easily goes to the floor when the vehicle is running. Wilde Toyota states that this is a normal condition for this 2008 Tundra as they say that they have other 2008 Tundra's that do the same. …”

NHTSA complaint #11350905, filed 2020-08, 124,360 miles

“I have a remote start system on my truck, I remote start my truck. The truck was parked on a level surface, nose pointing in towards house. The driveway drops off into a slope, but the truck was on the flat surface area. We go outside to get in it, and it's gone. It's not in the driveway and it's no where to be seen. I look over towards the creek, nope not there. Look out front, there's my truck and it is backed up on half in the street half in then the front yard. It's sitting where our mailbox should be. It is running and side marker lights are lit. …”

NHTSA complaint #10935160, filed 2016-12, 120,600 miles

“While pressing on my brakes to stop my vehicle while driving at any speed, my brakes just would released fast enough to accelerate. The pedal just stays down & releases back up slowly. This has been going on for sometime now & it happens very often. I've brought it into the dealership & they went on a test drive with me. They were not able to duplicate the problem after 3 minutes after driving. So they have told me that they couldn't do anything to it & sent me home. …”
