“I was going 15-20 MPH on on ramp to the freeway and accidentally veered right hitting the guard rail on the right front side of the car. None of the airbags deployed and my seatbelt did not lock, resulting in my face hitting the steering wheel, breaking my nose and cutting my lip.”

NHTSA complaint #11397241, filed 2021-02, 98,900 miles

“Had highland Toyota replace the airbags under the takata recall. The airbag light was on prior to this repair but after the repair they had not been successful in getting the srs warning light to go out. Told me they had reset it and to drive it to see if it will go out on its own it never has. So here it is about 2 years later and still the light is on. I know I've seen other issues with the srs on toyotas come to light could this be a relation to that?”

If feel as if there are several recalls on this vehicle, one that does not meet highway standards, in which the dealership should have known about before selling to me on october 31, 2016. I had trouble getting my title from the dealership + had several issues with the vehicle + it was within the 30 day warranty period, + they told me every time that everything was ok, until I was in my accident + now have + am still dealing with several medical issues.”
