“My son was involved in an accident riding upon a Vespa. At the time he reported that it 'took off on it's own and he could not stop it'. Frankly we thought that he was trying to explain bad driving or something of the sort. When we went to examine the scooter to estimate repairs we had the same thing happen with the scooter and the center stand. We currently have the scooter in our possession and the defect should be repeatable. We have notified piaggio over a week ago and they have not contacted us.”
