2011: “I have a 2011 Victory Cross Country motorcycle. The saddlebag latch on the right side is wearing improperly due to improper alignment. This is a known issue with this motorcycle. My dealer, Victory motorcycles, and polaris have refused to issue a replacement. Without repair, the latch will wear through and the saddlebag lid will not be able to be secured.”

2012: “Anytime the motorcycle gets wet the electrical acts strange. Sometimes the cruise doesn't work. Often times when I pull the clutch handle my hazard warning lights will blink. If I get rained on for a period of time my turn signals will cease functioning until the bike has spent several hours drying out. …”

NHTSA complaint #10536288, filed 2013-08, 16,000 miles

2014: “I was sitting in stop and go traffic for about 10-15 minutes. Weather was 100degf day. When I was finally able to go back to regular street speed (45 MPH) the engine on the bike seized resulting in rear tire sliding. I was able to pull clutch (allowing rear wheel to roll). Bike did not crash. Bike would not turn over for approximately 45 minutes for engine to cool down (my assumption). Sounds very much like this recall... Which my vehicle VIN is not included in... …”
