According to them the software has its limitations and these limitations include the car stoping abruptly and dangerously. The feature can be turned off but it will reset itself to on every time the car is restarted. …”
NHTSA complaint #11184313, filed 2019-03, 40,000 miles“When I purchased the vehicle, I had told sacramento nello Volvo that there was a issue with the handling of the car. I did not look at the rotors when I purchased the vehicle. I have been out of the country five times since the purchase of the car so, I have bearly driven the vehicle. I was fortunate that I was driving at a low speed when I used the brakes in a hard stop and they failed to prevent a collision. I was driving on a city street driving north towards travis afb.”
