“While moving about 40mph, the emergency brake engaged and it slowed car down significantly. However, there was nothing in front of me. I turned emergency braking off due to this issue. Also, during raining day, when backing out of driveway, car's emergency brakes engaged. This happen twice.”

NHTSA complaint #11675661, filed 2025-07

“I've had my vehicle for almost two months. When backing out of my garage occasionally the automatic emergency braking will engage when no obstacle is behind the vehicle. This has happened numerous times and requires multiple stop/restart cycles to get far enough to actually proceed.”

NHTSA complaint #11641181, filed 2025-02

“The vehicle will slam on the brakes randomly without any warning or any object even near by. It will do it repeatedly to the point where I cannot reverse out of my driveway. This is dangerous as you find yourself stuck in the middle of the road with oncoming traffic because the car keeps automatically braking every few feet for no reason. The vehicles lane keep assist also will consistently intervene for no reason to the point you are constantly fighting it while driving if it’s on.”

NHTSA complaint #11636738, filed 2025-01

“My 2024 Acura ZDX A-Spec is impacted by the NHTSA Campaign Number 26V112000 (blank instrument panel/rearview camera). I took the vehicle to the dealership for the recall software update. The service invoice explicitly states: 'software update due performed software update on vehicle A11.' However, the update did not actually apply. The A11 module update is supposed to transition the infotainment system from Android 12 to Android 14 to resolve the safety issue. My vehicle is still stuck on Android 12, and Acura has incorrectly advised me that my trim does not get the update. …”

NHTSA complaint #11741130, filed 2026-05

“The contact owns a 2024 Acura ZDX. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 26V306000 (Back Over Prevention); however, the part to complete the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. While the contact's wife was reversing, the rearview camera displayed a distorted or blank image. The dealer was made aware of the failure but confirmed that parts were not yet available. The failure mileage was 10,000.”
