“Tamara airbags. My car has both airbag lights on and there is no recall on it at all and it has not been in an accident at all. I received a warranty extension but with conditions. Conditions were if it's not the particular fault they will charge me $200 just for a scan. And then some more to actually fix the issue. I do not want to take it in due to that issue. I don't have $200 to give up like that.”

NHTSA complaint #11180530, filed 2019-02, 140,000 miles

“My Bmw does not fall into the recall that Bmw published. After several lights appeared in my dash (airbag, brake, seatbelt) I had the disnostic tool looked up and received a fault code 93c3 seat occupancy detector, passenger . Looking on the web this seems to be a common problem.”

NHTSA complaint #10786061, filed 2015-10, 175,000 miles

“My 2006 Bmw 525i passenger side airbag malfunction light came on and is a bad sensor in the seat. There has been a recall on this for other 2006 Bmw's but mine is not included in this. It is the same problem as all of the other recalled ones. The NHTSA campaign id# is 08v384000. I believe the problem is more widespread than the ones recalled.”

NHTSA complaint #10405487, filed 2011-06, 82,000 miles

“Takata recall, Bmw dealership said they do not have the parts yet. They have told me this for two years and now tell me to call NHTSA. They are not doing anything about it. All the while I am unprotected in my vehicle. Please respond.”
