2011: “I have a 2011 Bmw 535I that has front and rear cameras and I have recordings of the live footage of my incidence. I was driving through a residential street in my neighborhood to my house. I approached the gate entrance for my complex and stopped on the right lane of the road to make a left turn across the opposing traffic lane to approach the gate entrance. …”
NHTSA complaint #11399867, filed 2021-03, 98,000 miles2012: “Engine blew a year ago and I had to have that replaced because the rod bearings blew at 90,000 miles. Rear differential has failed not once but 2 times. Failed the first time 11/24/2020 and after $2200 in repairs again on 01/23/2021. Nevermind also having both from cv axles replaced as well. But the rear differential failure I have been seeing on a lot of Bmw's.”
NHTSA complaint #11389810, filed 2021-01, 150,000 miles2013: “Water and moisture is accumulating in both headlights when it rains causing them not to function properly. This has been happening for a couple of years. I've contacted the manufacture and was advised that they would not take action as the vehicles is no longer under warranty. I have two other cars that much older and never had similar problems.”
