“We purchased a 'certified pre-owned' 2012 Buick Enclave from royal Buick of sussex new jersey in february of 2017. The car shut off on friday january 11th. It was towed to rossi where we have been taken it for almost two years of ongoing maintenance, both scheduled and non, and have spent over $10k in the last year alone, on service that did not resolve the clicking sound coming from the engine. Earlier that day I had made the earliest appointment available which was 10 days later, on the 21st. After breaking down, we went to their showroom that following saturday and were seen by charlie. …”

“Twice in the last 30 days our Enclave was showing low on gas (usually not an issue) but both times the car sputtered to a stop. Once it quit I lost all power steering and braking. Even after I put gas in the car, the key would not move so I was unable to start the car without a jump. Car was towed to dealership. They were unable to recreate the issue although they were unable to explain why the key would lock up in the ignition. According to Buick everything checked out fine. Based on what we are hearing on the news, this issue seems very similar to the cobalt issue. Thank you.”

NHTSA complaint #10583576, filed 2014-04, 36,900 miles

“I purchased this vehicle (used)on 01/12/2021. 5 weeks later the brakes pedal went to the floor. It has done this randomly several times. Usually I can get the car stopped, put it in park and pump the brake pedal a few times and the pedal will be back to normal. When this happens it's usually at a low speed and I can get the car stopped but it takes a while. I have attempted to talk to Gen. Motors at Detroit seeking information as to how can I repair this problem. I got no help from Detroit. My local Buick shop manager tells me it could be any number of things. …”
