“Headlamp failure - known recall #14291 my VIN was not part of the recall, but was diagnosed with the same issue. Driving on the highway at night, the low beam and day time running lights went out. I had my youngest child with me at the time. The dealership told me the recall wasn't covered and I had to pay the $360 bill.”

NHTSA complaint #11207807, filed 2019-05, 183,000 miles

“Low-beam headlamps turned off while vehicle was running. High-beam lights still functional. While driving, my headlights would suddenly turn off without warning, and I'd have to use my high-beams. After a few seconds, they would come back on. This happened a few times, but now the low-beams don't come on at all. There is a recall for this issue, but my VIN isn't included for some reason.”

NHTSA complaint #11257312, filed 2019-09, 159,000 miles

“Headlights have a mind of their own. Only high beams work. My grandson noticed a recall he called the local dealership. Was told that our VIN number was not listed. Same model as thousands of others.. He replaced headlight module and both bulbs about 70 dollars lost. This happened at night while going down road in heavy rain on 2 lane”

NHTSA complaint #11005170, filed 2017-07, 156,000 miles

“I'm an old man well one trying to make it home on the interstate traffic was kind of heavy and getting bad for a good reason something didn't seem right other cars was blinking their lights at I pull to side check my running lights where not working I try everything so I had to drive almost a hour with bright lights”

NHTSA complaint #11083271, filed 2018-04, 222,000 miles

“Intermittent problem with headlamps going dark while driving at night forcing me to use my high beams. Daytime running lights appear to work although I wouldn't necessarily notice if they go dark during the day. I understand GM has a recall for this problem and want to know if my vehicle qualifies. I have not received any recall notice from GM although I read they have started to send notices out in may 2016.”

NHTSA complaint #10903586, filed 2016-09, 104,000 miles
